Is the app free?

Yes, Ride Forge is completely free — no subscriptions, no account required.

Which smart trainers are supported?

Any smart trainer that communicates via Bluetooth FTMS (Fitness Machine Service Profile) should be supported. However, it has only been validated with the Van Rysel D100.

How does the FTP estimation work?

The app includes a pre-defined ramp test. Complete it, and your FTP is calculated automatically, adjusting all your training zones.

Can I connect a heart rate monitor?

Yes, any Bluetooth heart rate monitor can be paired simultaneously with the trainer.

Does it sync with Strava?

Yes, completed workouts can be synced directly to your Strava account.

Can I sync with other platforms?

Yes, completed workout data is saved as .fit files, which can be uploaded to any compatible platform.
